Global Warming is caused by the combined CO2 emissions from cars, airplanes, trucks, buses
constructing homes and buildings, and factories. It is a big threat to our existence.It is projected,
based on Global Warming trends, atmospheric oxygen (what all humans and mammals breath to
live) is being depleted and the water levels of ocean will rise as much as 2 meters by 2020. This
should be a great concern of mankind.
Climate models also suggest that global warming could cause more frequent extreme weather
conditions and that they become more common, such as, more intense hurricanes, higher storm
surges in coastal communities, longer climatic heat waves, wild fires effecting lives and
communities and droughts effecting drinking water.
As individuals we can take steps to reverse the effects of global warming. We can discover how
preserving forestland (or by planting trees) can help. Together as many individuals we will make
a difference to combat global warming, CO2 emissions, and the effects of climate change on our
children‘s future.

You can make a difference!
We offer consumers the ability to preserve a piece of existing mature forests, thereby
preventing these forests and trees from being down for lumber or otherwise developed.
Preserving existing forest land also allows consumers to guarantee that a piece of forest land
is being preserved and all carbon footprint offsetting benefits from that piece of property
belong to the consumer!
Carbon Offsets Ohio offers a one-year preservation agreement on existing forest lands.
The agreement gives consumers a guarantee that their “piece of the Forest” will not be cleared,
developed, or otherwise have its carbon offsetting properties reduced.
The long-term goal of Carbon Offsets Ohio is to preserve and protect as much existing forest
land as possible, so we may ensure a perpetual and sustainable carbon offset and production
of OXYGEN concerned consumers. Old growth forests, such as the ones we are striving to
protect, takes about one-hundred years to mature; but they can be cleared in no time, leaving
nothing behind!
We will provide each participating consumer a “Certificate of Participation” which will include
the GPS coordinates of the preserved forest land.
Our carbon offset program offers direct participation. For the term of the agreement, that forest
is preserved in YOUR name. As a result, you can be assured that Carbon Offsets Ohio will maintain
and preserve “your piece of the Forest” for you.
